US Coast Guard Responds to Deepwater Horizon Oil Rig Fire—Uses PIER to manage media and public information

USCG fighting back fire at the Deepwater HorizonThe U.S. Coast Guard 8th District is using PIER to release official incident updates about the Deepwater Horizon oil rig explosion in the Gulf of Mexico. The Coast Guard has been fighting back flames since April 20th, 2010. They are currently looking for 11 missing people and investigating possible causes for the explosion.
